Extron PVS 405D Digital Switcher Firmware 1.03 Description

This package provides the necessary installation files of Extron PVS 405D Digital Switcher Firmware version 1.03.

Fixes:

- Fixed Issue (originated in wallplate firmware v1.01.0003) – Wallplates stop responding – Intermittently the connected wallplates may stop responding until power is cycled. This issue has been resolved.
- Added Feature – Updated PVT wallplate firmware 1.03.0002 – PVT SW HDMI RGB D and PVT SW HDMI D wallplate firmware version 1.03.0002 has been included in the PVS 405D firmware.
- Improved Feature – Increased VGA input stability – Wallplate firmware version 1.03.0002 improves the stability of VGA input video signal on the wallplate, when the PVS 405D is connected to a certain display models.

Installation steps:

1. Open PVS 405D Product Configuration Software.
2. From the Tools menu, select Update Firmware. Firmware can only be updated via the front panel USB connection. If you are already connected to the device an Update Firmware dialog box opens, requesting disconnection. If you are not connected to the device, the Update Firmware submenu is not available.
3. Click OK. A separate window opens and the details of the device and current installed firmware is acquired.
4. Browse to and select the downloaded firmware file. Valid firmware files have an S19 file extension.
5. Click Open. This returns you to the Update Firmware dialog box.
6. Click Update. The progress bar shows the progress of the firmware upload to the device. After uploading is completed, the device restarts. Reconnection to the device must be made to enable live configuration.
