What’s new in 7.52 firmware release

- Added UAM/CoovaChilli support (Throughput up to 60Mb/s)
- Added repeater mode with third party AP support
- Added router mode
- Added an option to close wireless session from RADIUS (RADIUS initiated disconnect) on WPA/WPA2-Enterprise
- Added option for indoor-outdoor channels-frequency filtering in list
- Added LAN speed indication over a single LED
- Added option to view DHCP server IP address leases
- Added IPv4 routing table management
- Added ping tool
- Added traceroute tool
- Added option to configure Ethernet speed
- Added multicast enhancements option
- Added “Network mode” to information page
- Added WAN and LAN IP subnets validation

Fixes:
- Fixed issue when “Save changes” button appears without any changes
- Fixed issue with VAP and wrong Data VLAN interface on bridge (NFT 1Ni)

If you update the Access Point (AP) firmware, your device can benefit from changes that fix multiple issues encountered by wireless clients, correct different user interface problems, add various functionalities, and include support for newly developed protocols.

Before performing this task, we recommend that you read and understand all the installation steps, because there are many AP models and manufacturers available. Each producer strives to make the procedure as simple as possible, but there are cases when it’s anything but that.

It is also advisable that you apply a new access point firmware in a steady power environment (UPS unit will satisfy this need), using an Ethernet cable rather than a wireless connection. The latter can be easily interrupted.
