HP ProBook 445 G2 Synaptics Touchpad Driver 18.1.37.3 Rev.A Description

This package provides the driver that enables the Synaptics Mouse in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. The driver provides advanced features such as PalmCheck, EdgeMotion, tap zones, double-tap, and tap-to-select.

Enhancements:

- Provides the option in the driver user interface to disable the touchpad when an external USB mouse is connected to the notebook. 
- Adds a ForcePad Finger Force Bar to the desktop in the lower right of the screen. The ForcePad Finger Force Bar shows how much pressure is being applied to the ForcePad. The Finger Force Bar can be disabled or hidden using the ForcePad Settings accessed from the desktop icon or the tray icon.
- Provides the updated ForcePad Tutorial desktop icon. The ForcePad Tutorial walks you through how to use the ForcePad on your HP notebook.
- Adds improvements to ACM 2.0 (Accidental Contact Mitigation) to provide smoother mouse cursor movement.

Fixes:

- Fixes an intermittent issue where the Synaptics driver displays an error message when the system wakes from sleep mode (S3).
- Fixes an intermittent issue which causes a blue screen event to occur when the system wakes from sleep mode (S3).
- Fixes an issue where a three finger swipe does not function properly in the Windows 8/8.1 Photo application.
For ForcePad units:
- Fixes an issue on systems running Microsoft Windows 7 32-bit where changing the audio settings using the Synaptics ForcePad audio slider causes the playback of an audio file or a video file to become distorted.

Installation steps (for exe / zip):

1. Save the driver files to your computer.
2. Run the executable or extract the installation files to a location on your disk.
3. Follow the steps displayed by the setup wizard.
4. After installation, restart the computer.
