Bug Fixes:

- Fixed SOAP security issue
- Fixed the SSL POODLE vulnerability issue
- Modified the WANIPConnection::GetInfo SOAP API to return the default MAC address even on PPPoA
- Corrected the parental control for PPPoA connection type
- Fixed the issue where NETGEAR Genie show “The operation timed out” issue
- Fixed the issue where router blocks the inbound traffic from WAN when it’s set as pure router mode (NAT disabled)
- Corrected the debuginfo page error when connection type is PPPoA

Known Issues:

- The Windows/MAC Genie application will scan devices (by sending ARP packets) and update the network map automatically. It will cause some wireless devices show as wired connection type for a while (until the application update the network map from the router).
- Sometimes the attached devices feature cannot get some wireless devices. (It caused by ARP packet loss).

To Upgrade:

- Download and extract the new firmware to a convenient place such as your desktop. The filename after extracting is DGN1000v3-V1.0.0.20_0.0.20.img
- Using a web browser, login to the router as admin.
- Under Maintenance click Router Upgrade.
- Click Browse and locate the upgrade file DGN1000v3-V1.0.0.14_0.0.14.img.
- Click Upload.
- Wait for the upgrade progress bar to complete and final prompt to appear.
- If problems occur after upgrading, try clearing the configuration by pressing the Factory Defaults pushbutton on the rear panel until the Test LED blinks (about 5 seconds). Then reenter your configuration information manually

Note:

- To avoid wireless disconnect issue during the firmware download process, NETGEAR recommends that firmware upgrade be performed on a computer with wired connection.

About Router Firmware:
