Smart Devices SmartQ Z8 Tablet Firmware Android 4.2.1.0 Description

Follow these steps to upgrade the firmware for the Z8:

- Please backup Z8 saved profiles.
- Prepare a TF card with enough space and confirmed its file system as FAT32.
- Please download the file "SmartQZ8" copied to the root directory of TF card (using part of the browser or some tools software download, the download process may give the firmware file to add a suffix such as "SmartQZ8.zip", please File name was changed to "SmartQZ8" without any suffix).
- Make sure the battery is fully charged, and in the off state to insert TF card, then hold down the "volume down" key, and then press the power button until the upgrade prompt appears on the screen.
- The firmware will be upgraded automatically after the upgrade is complete Z8 will restart.

  It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
