ASUS DSL-AC87VG Router Firmware 1.00.12.496 Description

Changes:

- Now supports DSL Spectrum feature(Traffic Manager > Spectrum).
- DSL driver(datapump) updated - B2pvfbH043e, now supports VDSL2 Profile 30a and Vplus 35b.
- Fixed VoIP Call Forwarding failed in certain cases issue.
- Samba module updated.
- Fixed Windows 10 device icon(Samba) missing issue.
- Fixed Samba badlock security vulnerability.
- Fixed Telephony > Answering Machine > Message Forwarding, Auto notify failed to work issue(with services such as web.de/gmail etc).
- Add missing UI Wi-Fi 5GHz Channels, 40MHz (132(DFS), 136(DFS)), 20MHz (132(DFS), 136(DFS), 140(DFS)).
- Fixed ADSL WAN mode, PVC2 failed to obtain IP issue, leads to IPTV streaming failure.
- Fixed NAS devices UPnP caused system abnormal issue.
- Add missing UI UPnP settings, enabled by default.
- Support UI VDSL2 30a/ Vplus 35b Profile options(Administration > DSL Setting).
- Add UI Protected Management Frames settings for both 2.4GHz/5GHz bands, disabled by default(Wireless > General).
- Support off-line Feedback feature.
- Fixed Wi-Fi client device switch from 2.4GHz to 5GHz band, access to LAN clients would fail issue.
- Fixed DECT phone related compatibility issues.
- LAN > DHCP Server default lease time changed from 1440s to 86400s.
- WAN > Virtual Server / Port Forwarding, Port Forwarding List max limit extended to 32.
- WAN > Port Trigger, Trigger Port List max limit changed to 32.

Installation Procedure:

- Save the downloadable package.
- Log into the router’s web user interface.
- Navigate to the firmware upgrade section of your wireless unit.
- Select the present firmware and configure your router to install this file.
- Wait as the device carries out this process.
- Reboot the unit if required.
