HP Notebook Remote ROM Flash 68DTU Bios F.16 Description

This package creates files that contain a binary image for the System ROM for
notebook models with 68DTU Family ROM. This package is used to
flash the System ROM on target PCs on a network, and it requires System
Software Manager (SSM).

NOTE

: To determine the ROM family and ROM date, run the Setup Utility by
pressing F10 on the target computer during startup and then view
File/System Information.

HOW TO USE:

NOTE: To flash the System BIOS on a target notebook in a network, the
System BIOS image must be used with SSM.
 
1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a temporary, empty directory on your
   hard drive.

2. Copy the SoftPaq to the file store.

  It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
