Roland AR-200 Recorder Firmware 1.24 SMF Description

Update Procedure: 

1. Connect the MIDI OUT port of your sequencer / MIDI interface to the MIDI IN port of the AR-200.
2. Hold the UP ARROW button and turn the power on. "UPdt" will be displayed.
3. Press PLAY and select updating via MIDI. "Send" should be displayed.
4. Load song "_00001.mid" into your sequencer and begin playback.
5. Repeat this step for songs "_00002.mid" thru "_000016.mid."
6. After song "_000016.mid" has finished playing back, the new system version will be displayed.
7. Press the DOWN ARROW button. "Go" will be displayed, indicating that the upgrade is in process.
8. When the upgrade procedure is finished, the checksum will be displayed.
9. Turn the AR-200's power off and then on again to complete the upgrade procedure.

1. AR-200 Version Upgrade Files
2. AR-200
3. MIDI Sequencer (must be able to play DOS format Standard MIDI Files)
4. MIDI Cable
5. MIDI Interface (if using computer sequencing program)
