- WPS AP PIN support on Win 2K/XP/XP x64/Vista 32/Vista x64.
- Fixed “ In Vista 32/64, the GUI utility can’t be waken up quickly after resuming from standby or hibernate mode.”
- Fixed “Vista: In the infrastructure mode, the 11g mode is not off even we turn off 11g mode from advanced setting page.”
- Fixed “The Ad-hoc network SSID is not sorted correctly in the Networks page.”
- Ad-hoc auto channel always start at channel 1 (Vista) and ch 6 (other OSes) even if it is with lots of interference.
- Workaround: Use fix channel in other OSes other than Vista. No workaround solution in Vista.
- If we uninstall the driver/utility in the normal user mode and enter admin privilege while normal user and admin are logging in simultaneously, sometimes the driver and utility can't be removed successfully in Vista.
- Workaround There will be no problem if you only have one account or several accounts but same admin privilege in Vista. If you have several accounts with different privilege, then reboot the system first before you doing un-installation and do un-installation in administrator privilege.
- Can't connect to WNR834Bv2 with "Up to 270 Mbps" mode by using WPS easily, other wireless mode is ok. Actually, this is WNR834Bv2 bug.
- Workaround Change wireless mode to others except "Up to 270 Mbps" or do not use WPS between WG111v3 and WNR834Bv2 if you want to use "Up to 270 Mbps" mode.
- In Win98SE and ME, the WG111v3 utility still displays connected in the status bar even we power off or reboot AP.
- Workaround Unplug wg111v3 and re-insert it again to recover the status.
- Can’t use WPS AP PIN to connect with DGN2000 at unconfig. mode.
- Workaround Please configure the DGN2000 manually first through WEB GUI first.
- Can't manually switch security type from WEP or WPA/WPA2 to No security on the GUI if running the smart wizard first during installation.
- Workaround Exit the GUI utility and re-run it again after first time installation or reboot PC after first time installation to solve this issue.
- No 'Connect to Internet' dialog pop-up after the ‘Connect to Internet' is enabled on XP64 OS.
- Some N routers will be displayed as B in the sitesurvey list like WNR3500v1, WNR3500v2, DGN2000, WNR2000.
- It is suggested to select AP SSID in networks page to run AP PIN instead of running “Join a Network”, it will be faster to setup the AP router.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
