Cloud Media Popcorn Hour Popbox 3D Media Player Firmware 02-03-111109-21-POP-412-000 Description

New Features

- After removing or editing an item, the cursor is placed onto the same page you were on instead of jumping back to page 1.
- If the user tries to play a file that no longer exists, they receive a prompt asking if they wants to remove the file from their database.
- If the user tries to play a file on a network share or device that's no accessible, it prompts the user to make sure it's connected and powered on.
- Added an updated uPnP stack. (Mainly a benefit for developers that use the uPnP protocols.)
- Added new option in the BD Lite menu called "Title". Allows users to select TV episodes and behind the scenes videos for their BD images.
- Added the new user account system for the apps market. This gives users the option of purchasing points for apps that will cost money as well as adding private stores.
- Added option to add NFS-TCP shares in the advanced share setup form.
- Can use NFO files with URLs for TheMovieDB.org and TheTVDB.com for video files.
- Added ability to disable HDMI audio in the audio/video setup page.
- Added support for FLV files using the H.264 codec.

Bug Fixes

- Pressing play when the music is paused always resumes music playback, no matter where your cursor is.
- Pressing stop or pause during a slideshow only affects the slideshow and not the music you have in the background.
- Navigation inside the BD Lite Menu no longer brings up the "seek" text.
- The Time Offset setting is grayed out for files that are not affected by this feature. Example: Blu-rays.
- TV shows are alphabetized like movies, it does not consider shows with The to start with T. Example, The Unit will be under U.
- When pressing page up or page down, the first number displayed is either the next or previous page.
- The scanner now starts whenever the setup wizard is run.
- Fixed issue where the Dolby Digital track was not being displayed separately for BD images with TrueHD.
- All the right panel information should be filled out for Music files regardless of which sorting option you're in.
- Removed the border around poster art in the info bar during video playback.
- Folders are now alphabetized and placed on top of files in the usb|network section rather than being mixed together with the files.
- During standby, the uPnP and NetBios traffic is now stopped.
- You can now select external subtitles (SRT) for Blu-ray ISO or IFO files.
- Users can now select the "Other" or "Undef" subtitle tracks on DVD ISOs.
- The user cannot use the "add media" wizard if there is no SD card inserted into the box.
- Titles with an apostrophe (') and ampersand (&) show poster art correctly.
- Added a remove from library option in the info panel for music and photos.
- The amerpsand (&) character is now displayed in the title of songs in the music library.
- If you have the repeat video option on, and you turn on subtitles for a video, when it repeats the subtitles will remain on as well.
- Reduced the delay time for the UI to refresh when you hit the start scan button and when the scanner status changes in the bottom left corner.
- When selecting Movies or TV Shows in the add media wizard, if a match is not found it will place the video file in the section which you specified and use the filename and a generic poster (unless a custom poster is available).
- If you select Home Videos in the add media wizard, all the files will be placed into the Home Videos section using the filename and generic poster art (unless a custom poster is available).

Known Bugs

- Info bar, audio/subtitle overlay and other UI elements during playback are not in 3D.
- When a video from a uPnP source fails to play, no error message is displayed.
- Resume playback does not always work on BD images.
- Single File VOB playback has multiple issues. Occurs on all players and is being worked on.
- Does not support folder specific credentials for shares.
- Forced PGS subtitles do not work on Blu-ray IFO or m2ts files. For Blu-ray they only work on BD-ISO files.
- When playing back video files, the volume does not always match the current setting. Pressing the volume up or down button increases the volume level to match the actual on screen setting.
- Artist and Album info is not displayed in the audio control interface.
- If you press the OK button to play a single song from a uPnP source, the song title appears in the audio control interface but then disappears. If you use the play button to create a temporary playlist, the title has %20 instead of spaces for the title.
- When the info panel is up, if you press the return button the screen behind it will go to the previous page. You must use the info button to close the info screen.
- M3U files in the usb|network section won't play.
- Certain areas of the UI don't ignore things like "A" or "An" or "The" when sorting files. This happens primarily in the music section.
- Multi-file movies still show "Episode ## - [Movie Title]" instead of the filenames.
- When playing a playlist in the music library, the playlist filename is displayed in the audio control interface instead of the currently playing track.

It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
