Upgrade Instructions:

- Using a browser, login to the router (the default URL is http://192.168.0.1). The user name is admin, and the default password is password.
- Under Maintenance, click Router Upgrade
- Note: When uploading software to the DG824, it is important not to interrupt the Web browser by closing the window, clicking a link, or loading a new page. If the browser is interrupted, the software may be corrupted. When the upload is complete, your gateway automatically restarts.
- Click Browse and locate the file which you just downloaded and extracted.
- Click Upload.
- Wait for the upgrade progress bar to complete and final prompt to appear.
- Reset the modem: Press and hold the Default Reset button until the Test LED turns on (about 10 seconds).
- Release the Default Reset button and wait for the router to reboot.
