DisplayLink Software Release R8.5 Beta delivers the following:

- DL-6xx0 performance improvements
- DL-6xx0 alternative encoder. Preview on selected platforms, enabled via registry key
- Other performance and reliability improvements

Issues fixed in 8.5 Beta release (8.4.3480.0/ 8.4.3485.0)

- DisplayLink screen might not refresh automatically after switching from Aero to Basic. (27054)
- HP LP2475w monitor can remain blank when connected to DL-6950 device. (27203)
