Strymon TimeLine Pedal Firmware 1.33 Description

Version 1.33 is an archived release. While this release does make some improvements over 1.23, we noticed some minor issues with the new features that were added in 1.33. Specifically, there is an issue with the new global tap per preset feature, and in some instances you may hear a subtle audio tick when using the looper via MIDI. If you already have v1.33 installed on your TimeLine, you may feel free to continue to use this version. 

What’s New:

- Improved Swell Delay triggering: 
We’ve made improvements to the way the swell is triggered when using the Swell Delay machine.
- “SUCCESS” indicator when installing factory/user presets: 
Now, when a factory or user preset SysEx file is loaded into the TimeLine, the LED will display “SUCCESS” indicating a successful file transfer.
- Preset Dump: 
We’ve added a Preset Dump function in the Global menu. This is a great way to make a backup of your TimeLine presets.

What’s Fixed:

- Kill Dry function now kills dry signal when TimeLine is bypassed
- Fixed audible glitch in spillover from dBucket to Dual delay machine when in parallel configuration
- Resolved an issue caused when utilizing the feedback loop while TimeLine is bypassed

How to Update Your Pedal

Once your MIDI interface has been configured, you are now ready to update your Strymon pedal. Before proceeding with the following steps, make sure that your Strymon pedal is connected to your computer with a dedicated MIDI interface and that your Librarian software is open.

- Navigate to View > Software Update at the top of your window or screen.
- Click on “Install the Update”.
- After the update has successfully been installed, click “OK”.
- You can check in the bottom right corner of the Librarian to confirm the update was installed successfully.
